Savory French Dip Biscuits

 

Ingredients:

1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough

1/2 lb roast beef, thinly sliced

1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese

1/4 cup caramelized onions (optional)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1 cup beef broth (for dipping)

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions:

Preheat Oven:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.

Assemble Biscuits: Flatten each biscuit slightly and place a slice of roast beef, a sprinkle of Swiss cheese, and a spoonful of caramelized onions in the center. Fold the dough over and pinch edges to seal.

Brush with Butter: Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley, then brush over the biscuits.

Bake: Place biscuits on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Prepare Au Jus: In a small saucepan, heat beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over medium heat until warm.

Serve:

Serve biscuits warm with au jus for dipping.
