Cheesy Potato and Ground Beef Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced

500g ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

1 cup beef broth

1 tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp paprika

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Potatoes:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Boil the sliced potatoes in salted water until slightly tender, then drain and set aside.

2. Cook the Beef:

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Sauté the diced onion until softened, then add the ground beef and cook until browned.

Stir in the tomato paste, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Pour in the beef broth and simmer for 5 minutes.

3. Assemble the Casserole:

In a greased baking dish, layer half of the potatoes.

Spread the beef mixture over the potatoes.

Top with the remaining potatoes and sprinkle both cheeses over the top.

4. Bake:

Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

5. Serve:

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
