Garlic Parmesan Fried Lamb Chops

Here’s a mouthwatering recipe for crispy, juicy lamb chops coated in garlicky parmesan goodness. Perfect for a fancy dinner or a comfort-food treat.

🥩 Ingredients:

  • 8 lamb chops (rib or loin, about 1 inch thick)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp fresh garlic, minced (about 2 cloves)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • ½ cup flour
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

🔪 Instructions:

  1. Prep the Chops:
    Pat lamb chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Set up Breading Station:
    • Bowl 1: Flour
    • Bowl 2: Beaten eggs
    • Bowl 3: Mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, and minced garlic
  3. Bread the Chops:
    • Dredge each chop in flour (shake off excess)
    • Dip in egg
    • Coat in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture
      Press the coating firmly to stick.
  4. Fry:
    Heat about ½ inch of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    Fry lamb chops for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked to your liking (medium or medium-well is ideal).
  5. Rest & Serve:
    Place on a wire rack or paper towels to drain excess oil.
    Garnish with fresh parsley and a little more grated Parmesan if you like!
