1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Glaze (Optional):
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1–2 tablespoons milk or cream

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease and flour a 9-inch springform pan to ensure easy removal of the cake
2_ Prepare the Wet Ingredients:

Stir in the vanilla extract.
3_ Mix the Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
4_ Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Mix gently until just combined to avoid overmixing.
