🍗🥬🧀 Caesar Chicken with Asparagus 🧀🥬🍗
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
1/2 cup shredded or grated Parmesan cheese (optional but recommended)
🔥 Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Season the Chicken:
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Sear the Chicken (Optional but adds flavor):
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. (It doesn’t need to be cooked through.)
Add Caesar Dressing:
Remove from heat if seared. Pour the Caesar dressing evenly over the chicken breasts.
Add Asparagus:
Arrange the trimmed asparagus around the chicken in the skillet or baking dish. Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the asparagus and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Bake:
Transfer the skillet or baking dish to the oven. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temp: 165°F / 74°C) and the asparagus is tender.
Add Cheese (Optional):
In the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the chicken for a cheesy, golden topping.
Serve:
Plate the chicken with asparagus on the side. Spoon extra dressing from the pan over the top for extra flavor.
