French Onion Butter Rice

Ingredients:

• 1 cup (200g) long grain white rice (uncooked)

• 1 can (10.5 oz / ~300g) French onion soup (like Campbell’s)

• 1 can (10.5 oz / ~300g) beef broth (or 1 ¼ cup)

• 4 tbsp unsalted butter (cut into pieces)

• Optional: 1 small onion, finely chopped

• Optional topping: shredded cheese or crispy onions

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

2. In a baking dish (about 8×8 inch or medium size), add:

• Uncooked rice

• French onion soup

• Beef broth

• (Optional chopped onions)

3. Mix everything well.

4. Top with butter pieces evenly across the dish.

5. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

6. Remove foil and bake for another 30 minutes, until the liquid is absorbed and rice is fluffy.

7. Optional: sprinkle with cheese and broil for 2–3 minutes until melted and bubbly.

Tips:

• You can add cooked mushrooms or cooked ground beef to make it a complete meal.

• Tastes amazing served with chicken, steak, or roasted veggies.
