Ingredients You’ll Need

Serves 6–8

For the Bread:

  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade dough)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices , chopped
  • ½ cup cooked Italian sausage , crumbled (optional)
  • ¼ cup diced green bell pepper
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried oregano

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter , melted 🧈
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) . Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Step 2: Roll Out the Dough

  1. Unroll the pizza dough on a floured surface and stretch it into a rectangle (about 10×14 inches).
  2. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Step 3: Add the Fillings

  1. Layer the chopped pepperoni, cooked sausage (if using), bell pepper, red onion, and black olives evenly over the cheese.
  2. Sprinkle garlic powder, oregano, and the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.

Step 4: Roll & Seal

  1. Starting from one long side, tightly roll the dough into a log, pinching the seam and ends to seal.
  2. Place the rolled dough seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 5: Bake

  1. Bake for 20–25 minutes , until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Step 6: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley.

Step 7: Finish & Serve

  1. Brush the garlic butter sauce generously over the baked bread while it’s still warm.
  2. Slice into thick pieces and serve hot with marinara sauce or ranch for dipping.
