INGREDIENTS

  • 1 small head green cabbage, thinly sliced

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

  • 1 small onion, sliced (optional)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Optional: pinch of paprika or red pepper flakes

PREPARATION

  1. Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until soft (skip if not using).

  3. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  4. Add the sliced cabbage, season with salt and black pepper.

  5. Cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender and lightly golden.

  6. Sprinkle with paprika or red pepper flakes if desired, toss, and serve hot.
