Homemade Bread recipe

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons (60 ml) olive oil

1 tablespoon (10 g) dry yeast

1 teaspoon salt

1 1/3 cups (320 ml) warm water

4 3/4 cups (570 g) plain flour

 

Instructions:

1 In a bowl, mix warm water with dry yeast and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until the yeast activates.

2 Add olive oil and salt, then mix well.

3 Gradually add the flour while kneading until you get a smooth and elastic dough.

4 Cover the dough and let it rise for about an hour or until it doubles in size.

5 Shape the dough into a loaf or small rolls and place them on a greased baking tray.

6 Let the dough rest for another 20-30 minutes.

7 Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

8 Allow it to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your delicious homemade bread!
