Homemade Yum Yum Sauce
Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or distilled vinegar)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon sugar (optional for sweetness)
2 tablespoons water (to thin the sauce, adjust as needed)
Instructions:
Mix Ingredients:
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, sriracha, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and sugar.
Adjust Consistency:
Add water one tablespoon at a time, mixing until the sauce reaches your desired consistency—smooth and pourable, but not too runny.
Chill:
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
Serve:
Enjoy as a dipping sauce for shrimp, chicken, fries, or drizzle over rice bowls and grilled vegetables.
Tips:
For a smokier flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika.
Make it spicier with extra sriracha or a dash of cayenne pepper.
