Spinach Garlic Meatballs Stuffed with Mozzarella

Ingredients:

1. 1 lb ground beef

2. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

3. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

4. 1 egg

5. 2 cloves garlic, minced

6. 1 cup spinach, chopped

7. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

8. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

9. Salt and pepper to taste

10. 4 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes

11. 1 tablespoon olive oil (for frying)

12. Marinara sauce, for serving

Directions:

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cooking Time: 30 minutes | Total Time: 50 minutes

1. Preheat Oven:

1.1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. Prepare the Meatball Mixture:

2.1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped spinach, dried oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Combine well.

3. Form the Meatballs:

3.1. Take a small amount of the meat mixture and flatten it in your palm.

3.2. Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center and form the meat mixture around it, shaping it into a ball. Repeat for the remaining mixture.

4. Cook the Meatballs:

4.1. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

4.2. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through.

5. Serve:

5.1. Serve the spinach garlic meatballs hot with marinara sauce for dipping.

5.2. Enjoy the delicious and cheesy surprise of melted mozzarella inside each meatball.
