Jalapeño Popper Casserole

This cheesy and spicy casserole combines ground beef, creamy jalapeños, creating a deliciously comforting dish that’s sure to please!

🛒 Ingredients

 

1 lb Ground beef

8 oz Cream cheese, softened

1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese

4 oz Canned diced jalapeños, drained (or fresh jalapeños, diced)

1/2 cup Mayonnaise

1 tsp Garlic powder

1 tsp Onion powder

1/2 tsp Paprika

To taste: Salt and pepper

1/4 cup Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Preheat: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Brown the Beef: Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Make the Cream Base: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.

Add Flavor: Stir in the diced jalapeños, half of the cheddar cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese into the cream cheese mixture.

Combine: Add the cooked ground beef to the mixture and stir until well combined.

Assemble: Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread it evenly.

Top it Off: Top with the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Serve: Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.
