Ingredients
- 4 lobster tails (thawed if frozen)
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice (fresh)
- ¼ teaspoon paprika (optional, for color)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
👩🍳 Instructions
- Prepare the Lobster Tails
- Preheat your oven broiler on high.
- With kitchen scissors, cut down the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise, stopping at the tail fin. Gently pull the lobster meat out of the shell and rest it on top for an attractive presentation. Pat the meat dry with paper towels.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer gently for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
- Brush the Lobster Tails
- Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with foil.
- Spoon or brush some of the creamy garlic butter sauce generously over the lobster meat, reserving some sauce for serving.
- Broil the Lobster
- Broil the lobster tails about 5–7 minutes (depending on size), or until the meat is opaque and firm.
- Halfway through, baste again with more sauce.
- Serve
- Transfer the lobster tails to a serving plate.
- Drizzle the remaining garlic butter sauce over the top.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
✨ Tips:
- Don’t overcook; lobster meat becomes rubbery quickly.
- You can also sprinkle a bit of grated Parmesan over the tails before broiling for an extra rich touch.
