Secret Jalapeño Cream Cheese Dip
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cream cheese (softened, about 450 g)
- 1 cup sour cream (240 g)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup pickled jalapeños, finely chopped (adjust to spice preference)
- 2 fresh jalapeños, seeded & finely diced (optional for extra heat)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt (to taste)
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
- 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers or panko breadcrumbs (for topping)
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar, mozzarella, jalapeños, garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth and well combined.
- Transfer mixture into a greased baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine Parmesan, crushed crackers, and melted butter. Sprinkle evenly on top of the dip.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips, pita bread, or veggie sticks.
