THANKS \ud83e\udd70<br \/>\nCHICKEN CURRY WITH CARROT AND TURNIP GREENS<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS :<br \/>\n3 tablespoons cooking oil<br \/>\n1 large onion, chopped<br \/>\n2 large carrots, roughly chopped<br \/>\n1 large green pepper, roughly chopped<br \/>\n1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic<br \/>\n1 tablespoon curry powder<br \/>\n1 teaspoon cumin<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon smoked paprika<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon turmeric powder<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon ground ginger<br \/>\n1 teaspoon dry rosemary<br \/>\n1 tablespoon Portuguese chicken spice<br \/>\n1.5 kg chicken pieces<br \/>\n3 large tomatoes, chopped<br \/>\n2 cups turnip greens<br \/>\n1 tablespoon chopped coriander<\/p>\n<p>METHOD :<br \/>\nIn a large pot, heat the oil. Add the chopped onions, carrot and peppers. Fry until until onions are translucent.<br \/>\nAdd the garlic and all the spices. Fry for a minute but don\u2019t burn the garlic.<br \/>\nAdd the chicken spices and stir to coat the pieces with the spice mix.<br \/>\nCook for two to three minutes before adding the chopped tomatoes. Season with chicken spice, pepper and rosemary.<br \/>\nClose the lid and simmer on low heat for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.<br \/>\nAdd the turnip greens.
