{"id":806,"date":"2023-12-11T09:04:45","date_gmt":"2023-12-11T09:04:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/?p=806"},"modified":"2023-12-11T09:04:45","modified_gmt":"2023-12-11T09:04:45","slug":"easy-school-pizza","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/index.php\/2023\/12\/11\/easy-school-pizza\/","title":{"rendered":"Easy School Pizza"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>School Pizza<\/h3>\n<div><em>f you love and miss the old school rectangle pizza, here\u2019s the recipe:<\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-1\"><\/div>\n<div>Half sheet pan and line with parchment paper.<\/div>\n<div>Crust:<\/div>\n<div>2 \u2154 flour<br \/>\n\u00be cup powdered milk<br \/>\n2 T sugar<br \/>\n1 packet of quick rise yeast<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<br \/>\n1 \u2154 cup warm water (105-110 degrees)<br \/>\n2 T vegetable oil<br \/>\nFilling:<br \/>\n<ins><\/ins><\/div>\n<div>\u00bd pound ground chuck<\/div>\n<div>\u00bd tsp salt<\/div>\n<div>\u00bd tsp pepper<\/div>\n<div>1 8oz block mozzarella cheese \u2013 grated yourself (To be authentic school pizza, you will have to use imitation<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Sauce (I make sauce the day before):<\/div>\n<div>6oz can tomato paste<br \/>\n1 cup water<br \/>\n\u2153 olive oil<br \/>\n2 cloves garlic minced<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<br \/>\n1 tsp pepper<br \/>\n\u00bd tbsp dried oregano<br \/>\n\u00bd tbsp dried basil<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp dried rosemary crushed<\/div>\n<div>Crust:<\/div>\n<div>Preheat oven to 475 degrees. Spray pan with Pam and lay Parchment paper down (Pam makes it stick)<br \/>\nIn a large bowl \u2013 flour, powdered milk, sugar, yeast, salt \u2013 whisk to blend<br \/>\nAdd oil to hot water (110-115 degrees) \u2013 pour into your mixture<br \/>\nStir with a wooden spoon until batter forms \u2013 don\u2019t worry about lumps \u2013 you just want no dry spots<br \/>\nSpread dough into pan using fingertips until it\u2019s even. If dough doesn\u2019t want to cooperate, let rest 5 minutes and try again<br \/>\nBake just the crust for 8-10 minutes \u2013 remove from oven and set aside.<br \/>\nBrown meats until it resembles crumbles \u2013 set aside and drain meat<br \/>\nGet out the pizza sauce \u2013 to partially baked crust, assemble:<br \/>\nSauce \u2013 spread all over crust<br \/>\nSprinkle meats<br \/>\nSprinkle cheese<br \/>\nBake at 475 degrees for 8-10 minutes until cheese melts and begins to brown<br \/>\nRemove from oven \u2013 let stand 5 minutes<br \/>\nCut in slices and serve!<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>School Pizza f you love and miss the old school rectangle pizza, here\u2019s the recipe: Half sheet pan and line&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":807,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"slim_seo":{"title":"Easy School Pizza - Grandma Baking Recipes","description":"School Pizza f you love and miss the old school rectangle pizza, here\u2019s the recipe: Half sheet pan and line with parchment paper.
