It\u2019s called bark because it\u2019s supposed to be rough and uneven like the bark on a tree. Pecan pie bark is a delicious combination of sugar, graham crackers, pecans, butter, vanilla, and salt.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients<\/p>\n<p>13 graham crackers<\/p>\n<p>1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter<\/p>\n<p>1 cup brown sugar<\/p>\n<p>2 cups pecan halves, roughly chopped<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 teaspoon salt<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon vanilla extract<\/p>\n<p>How to Make Pecan Pie Bark<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F and line a rimmed sheet pan with aluminum foil.<\/p>\n<p>Lightly grease the foil with butter and line the baking sheet with graham crackers, breaking them where necessary to make them fit.<\/p>\n<p>Combine butter, brown sugar, pecans, and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and let cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.<\/p>\n<p>Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Immediately pour hot mixture over graham crackers and spread mixture to edges of pan using a spatula. Make sure pecans are evenly distributed and that crackers are covered.<\/p>\n<p>Bake until bubbly, about 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Allow to cool completely and break into pieces.
