{"id":6387,"date":"2025-10-14T21:31:42","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T21:31:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/?p=6387"},"modified":"2025-10-14T21:31:42","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T21:31:42","slug":"bacon-wrapped-smokies-with-brown-sugar-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/index.php\/2025\/10\/14\/bacon-wrapped-smokies-with-brown-sugar-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Bacon Wrapped Smokies with Brown Sugar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>These will always be a favorite of mine!! \ud83d\ude0e<\/p>\n<p>\u2764 Bacon Wrapped Smokies with Brown Sugar \u2764<br \/>\nIngredients<\/p>\n<p>1 pound Bacon, Cut Into Thirds<br \/>\n1 pound Lil\u2019 Smokies (small sausages)<br \/>\n1 stick Butter<br \/>\n2 cups Brown Sugar<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 375F.<br \/>\nCut the bacon into thirds and wrap each smokie.(small sausage)<br \/>\nPlace all the wrapped smokies in a single layer in a baking dish.<br \/>\nThen melt the stick of butter and then 1 cup of brown sugar and stir until mixed well.<br \/>\nPour the butter and brown sugar mixture on the smokies and bacon.<br \/>\nThen take the other cup of brown sugar and sprinkle evenly over the smokies.<br \/>\nBake them for about 15-20 minutes and then turn the heat up to 400F for about 5 minutes or longer until the bacon becomes crispy.
