{"id":6050,"date":"2025-09-17T14:25:05","date_gmt":"2025-09-17T14:25:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/?p=6050"},"modified":"2025-09-17T14:25:05","modified_gmt":"2025-09-17T14:25:05","slug":"seafood-lasagna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/index.php\/2025\/09\/17\/seafood-lasagna\/","title":{"rendered":"Seafood Lasagna"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Seafood Lasagna Recipe<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For the filling:\n<ul>\n<li>2 tbsp olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1 small onion, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>3 garlic cloves, minced<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 lb (225 g) shrimp, peeled &amp; deveined<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 lb (225 g) crab meat (fresh or imitation)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 lb (225 g) white fish (like cod or halibut), cut into bite-size pieces<\/li>\n<li>Salt &amp; pepper, to taste<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp paprika (optional)<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>For the sauce:\n<ul>\n<li>4 tbsp butter<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>3 cups whole milk, warmed<\/li>\n<li>1 cup heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp nutmeg (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Salt &amp; pepper, to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>For layering:\n<ul>\n<li>9\u201312 lasagna noodles (regular or no-boil)<\/li>\n<li>2 cups ricotta or cottage cheese<\/li>\n<li>1 egg (to mix with ricotta)<\/li>\n<li>2 cups shredded mozzarella<\/li>\n<li>Extra Parmesan for topping<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Instructions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cook the seafood filling:\n<ul>\n<li>Heat olive oil in a skillet. Saut\u00e9 onion and garlic until fragrant.<\/li>\n<li>Add shrimp, crab, and fish. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook just until seafood turns opaque (don\u2019t overcook). Stir in parsley. Set aside.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>Make the white sauce:\n<ul>\n<li>In a saucepan, melt butter.
