Minced garlic<\/p>\n<p>5 Strips of bacon cooked and crumbled<\/p>\n<p>Reserved bacon grease<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd tsp. Onion powder<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd tsp. Garlic powder<\/p>\n<p>Salt and pepper to taste<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>How To Make Fried Cabbage with Onions and Bacon:<\/p>\n<p>Cook the bacon and set it aside to cool.R eserve the bacon grease.<\/p>\n<p>Place the bacon grease in a deep side pot or skillet, and cook the onion until it is softened.<\/p>\n<p>Add the garlic to the pot and saute another 30 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the cabbage to the pot. Stir and then cover. Simmer until the cabbage has softened.<\/p>\n<p>Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
