Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.<\/li>\n<li>Unroll the dough onto a lightly floured surface. If using crescent roll dough, separate it into 8 triangles. If using pizza dough, cut it into 8 equal rectangles.<\/li>\n<li>Add the filling:\n<ul>\n<li>Place one slice of ham on each piece of dough.<\/li>\n<li>Add one cheese stick (or a generous spoon of shredded cheese) on top of the ham.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>Roll it up:\n<ul>\n<li>Roll the dough around the ham and cheese, sealing the edges well to prevent the cheese from leaking while baking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>Optional:\n<ul>\n<li>Beat the egg and brush the tops of the rolls for a golden finish.<\/li>\n<li>Melt the butter and mix it with garlic powder or Italian seasoning.
