1 (3.4 ounce) box instant banana pudding
\n1 (40 ounce) can crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
\n1 (8 ounce) tub Cool Whip, thawed
\n3 large ripe bananas, sliced
\n16 ounces fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
\n4 cups mini marshmallows
\n1 (10 ounce) jar maraschino cherries, drained well, reserve some for topping
\n\u00bd cup semisweet chocolate chips, plus extra for topping
\n\u00bd cup chopped peanuts or walnuts, plus extra for topping
\nWhipped cream, for topping
\nSprinkles, for topping<\/p>\n

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant banana pudding mix and the juice from the crushed pineapple until smooth and thickened.
\nFold in the Cool Whip until well incorporated.
\nAdd sliced bananas, chopped strawberries, mini marshmallows, maraschino cherries, chocolate chips, and chopped nuts to the bowl. Gently fold the mixture until everything is well coated with the banana pudding mixture.
\nRefrigerate the mixture for 2-4 hours to allow the flavors to meld together and the dessert to set.
\nBefore serving, garnish with additional chocolate chips, chopped nuts, maraschino cherries, dollops of whipped cream, and sprinkles.
