Add beef and cook until browned on all sides. Remove beef and set aside.<br \/>\nIn the same skillet, add onion, garlic, and mushrooms. Cook until vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.<br \/>\nReturn beef to the skillet. Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1.5 hours, or until beef is tender.<br \/>\nIn a separate pot, cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain.<br \/>\nRemove bay leaf from the beef mixture. In a small bowl, mix sour cream and flour until smooth. Stir into the beef mixture.
