You can use whatever tart apples you like best, though.<br \/>\nPeel and slice your apples up and then toss them in some sugar and cinnamon. I\u2019m using a 1\/2 cup of sugar, but I recommend tasting your apples before you add the sugar. You can absolutely reduce or increase it based on how sweet\/tart your apples are. And keep in mind that the topping is sweet too, so don\u2019t overdo the sugar. \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\nAdd your apples to a 9\u00d713 baking dish and then prepare the topping.<br \/>\nThis simple apple cobbler topping is made with just flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and eggs. You\u2019ll stir everything together until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.<br \/>\nPour the topping over the apples \u2013 it\u2019s a lot of topping because I believe the topping is the best part. \ud83d\ude09<br \/>\nNext, you\u2019ll drizzle melted butter over the top of everything. Butter makes this nice and rich and allows the topping to bake up crispy, crunchy, and golden brown.<br \/>\nBake for 45 minutes to an hour \u2013 you want the topping to be golden brown.<br \/>\nI let this cool for about 10 minutes before scooping out a big portion and topping it off with some vanilla ice cream.<br \/>\nA drizzle of caramel sauce certainly won\u2019t hurt things either.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"Target0\"><em><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>4-6 capple pie filling<\/li>\n<li>1 stickbutter, melted<\/li>\n<li>1 boxyellow cake mix<\/li>\n<li>1 jar(s) caramel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"Target1\"><em><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<p>preheat oven to 350, butter a 13\u00d79 cake pan, set aside.<br \/>\npour apple pie filling into pan, if your not making your own filling, use 2 16oz cans from store.<br \/>\npour the DRY cake mix over the pie filling.<br \/>\nDrizzle desired amount of caramel over the cake mix.<br \/>\npour melted butter throughout.
