{"id":3194,"date":"2025-03-27T01:35:31","date_gmt":"2025-03-27T01:35:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/?p=3194"},"modified":"2025-03-27T01:35:31","modified_gmt":"2025-03-27T01:35:31","slug":"peach-cobbler-meets-cheesecake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/index.php\/2025\/03\/27\/peach-cobbler-meets-cheesecake\/","title":{"rendered":"Peach Cobbler Meets Cheesecake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Peach Cobbler Meets Cheesecake \ud83e\udd70\ud83e\udd70<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients<\/p>\n<p>Crust:<br \/>\n1 \u00bd cups graham cracker crumbs<br \/>\n\u00bc cup granulated sugar<br \/>\n6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted<br \/>\nCheesecake Filling:<br \/>\n16 oz (2 blocks) cream cheese, softened<br \/>\n\u00bd cup granulated sugar<br \/>\n2 large eggs<br \/>\n1 tsp vanilla extract<br \/>\n\u00bd cup sour cream<br \/>\n1 tbsp all-purpose flour<br \/>\nPeach Cobbler Topping:<br \/>\n3 cups fresh or canned peaches (drained if canned)<br \/>\n\u2153 cup brown sugar<br \/>\n1 tsp cinnamon<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp nutmeg<br \/>\n1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)<br \/>\nCobbler Crumble Topping:<br \/>\n\u00bd cup all-purpose flour<br \/>\n\u00bc cup brown sugar<br \/>\n\u00bc cup granulated sugar<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp cinnamon<br \/>\n4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted<br \/>\nInstructions<br \/>\nPrepare the crust:<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 325\u00b0F (163\u00b0C).<br \/>\nMix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.<br \/>\nPress into the bottom of a springform pan.<br \/>\nBake for 10 minutes, then let cool.<br \/>\nMake the cheesecake filling:<\/p>\n<p>In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.<br \/>\nAdd eggs one at a time, mixing just until combined.<br \/>\nStir in vanilla, sour cream, and flour.<br \/>\nPour over the cooled crust.<br \/>\nBake the cheesecake:<\/p>\n<p>Wrap the bottom of the pan in foil and place in a larger pan.<br \/>\nPour hot water around the springform pan (water bath method).<br \/>\nBake at 325\u00b0F for about 50-55 minutes, until the center is slightly jiggly.<br \/>\nTurn off the oven, crack the door, and let it cool inside for 1 hour.<br \/>\nRefrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight).<br \/>\nMake the peach cobbler topping:<\/p>\n<p>In a saucepan over medium heat, add peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.<br \/>\nCook until peaches release juices. Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.<br \/>\nLet cool completely.<br \/>\nMake the cobbler crumble topping:<\/p>\n<p>Mix flour, sugars, cinnamon, and melted butter until crumbly.<br \/>\nBake at 350\u00b0F for 10-12 minutes until golden.
