{"id":3016,"date":"2025-03-20T18:07:04","date_gmt":"2025-03-20T18:07:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/?p=3016"},"modified":"2025-03-20T18:07:04","modified_gmt":"2025-03-20T18:07:04","slug":"italian-stromboli-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/index.php\/2025\/03\/20\/italian-stromboli-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Italian Stromboli"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1 tube of pillsbury pizza crust<\/p>\n<p>8 slices of deli ham<\/p>\n<p>10 slices of Genoa salami<\/p>\n<p>12 slices of sandwich pepperoni<\/p>\n<p>8 slices provolone cheese or mozzarella<\/p>\n<p>(You could definitely use shredded cheese as well)<\/p>\n<p>2 tablespoons of butter<\/p>\n<p>2 minced garlic gloves<\/p>\n<p>2 teaspoons chopped parsley<\/p>\n<p>3 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese<\/p>\n<p>Melt the butter in the microwave and mix in the minced garlic, parsley and Parmesan cheese. Set aside<\/p>\n<p>I lined my baking sheet with parchment paper.<\/p>\n<p>Stretch the pizza crust out to almost the size of your baking sheet.<\/p>\n<p>Layer the deli meats. I started with the ham, then the salami followed by the pepperoni.<\/p>\n<p>Layer the cheese last.<\/p>\n<p>Roll the Stromboli longwise and be sure to seal the seam good.<\/p>\n<p>Seal the ends good. Pinch them and mold the excess dough to the underside of the Stromboli.<\/p>\n<p>Score the top a few times with a serrated knife (to allow the steam to escape while baking).<\/p>\n<p>Top the Stromboli with the garlic butter mixture.<\/p>\n<p>Bake the Stromboli as instructed on the back of whatever pizza dough you are using.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; I found it\u2019s the same bake time as you would if you were using it for a regular pizza\u2026however, you just won\u2019t par bake it as instructed on the tube.<br \/>\n&#8211; I know typical Stromboli has red sauce but I don\u2019t like it inside, I like to dip mine in it!
