If you guys are looking for a comforting, hearty and blow you away with flavor beef stew this is your recipe.\u00a0Ok I am getting a little ahead of myself because I am so excited about this beef stew.<\/p>\n<p>Who gets excited about a beef stew? Apparently this girl.\u00a0This has the most crazy tender beef inside with hearty\u00a0<strong>vegetables<\/strong>\u00a0and it has the absolutely best rich and delicious sauce!\u00a0I am a total beef stew lover especially when it cools down.\u00a0It took me a couple of recipes to get it right.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Ingredients:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>5\u00a0<strong>slices\u00a0bacon<\/strong>\u00a0finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>3\u00a0lbs.\u00a0boneless beef chuck\u00a0cut to 1 inch cubes<\/li>\n<li>1\u00a0cup\u00a0red cooking wine<\/li>\n<li>2\u00a0cups\u00a0chicken broth<\/li>\n<li>1\/2\u00a0cup\u00a0tomato sauce<\/li>\n<li>1\/4\u00a0cup\u00a0<strong>soy sauce<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>1\/4\u00a0cup\u00a0<strong>flour<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>3\u00a0garlic cloves\u00a0finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>2\u00a0Tablespoons\u00a0thyme\u00a0finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>5\u00a0medium\u00a0<strong>Carrots\u00a0<\/strong>sliced<\/li>\n<li>1\u00a0pound\u00a0baby potatoes\u00a0I used tri color<\/li>\n<li>8\u00a0ounce\u00a0fresh mushrooms\u00a0sliced<\/li>\n<li>fresh chopped parsley for\u00a0<strong>garnish<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">PREPARATION:<\/h2>\n<p>In a large skillet cook\u00a0<strong>bacon<\/strong>\u00a0over medium high heat until crisp. Put bacon in\u00a0<strong>slow cooker<\/strong>. Salt and pepper the beef and add to the skillet and sear on each side for 2-3 minutes. Transfer beef to the slow cooker.<\/p>\n<p>Add the red wine to the skillet scraping down the brown bits on the side. Allow it to simmer and reduce and slowly add\u00a0<strong>chicken broth<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>tomato sauce<\/strong>, and soy sauce. Slowly whisk in the flour. Add the sauce to the slow cooker.<\/p>\n<p>Add garlic, thyme, carrots, potatoes, and\u00a0<strong>mushrooms<\/strong>\u00a0to the slow cooker. Give it a good stir and cook on low until beef is tender for 8-10 hours or high for 6-Garnish with fresh parley and serve with mashed potatoes if desired.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy !<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is THE BEST BEEF STEW I HAVE EVER HAD!
