{"id":2770,"date":"2025-03-12T00:36:16","date_gmt":"2025-03-12T00:36:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/?p=2770"},"modified":"2025-03-12T00:36:16","modified_gmt":"2025-03-12T00:36:16","slug":"chinese-pepper-steak-with-onions-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/index.php\/2025\/03\/12\/chinese-pepper-steak-with-onions-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Chinese pepper steak with onions!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u00b01.5 lb beef strips (I used sliced, round steaks cut into strips)<br \/>\n\u00b01 green pepper, cutting into thick slices<br \/>\n\u00b01 red bell pepper, cut into thick slices<br \/>\n\u00b01\/2 thick sliced onion<br \/>\n\u00b01\/4 tsp garlic powder<br \/>\n\u00b01 1\/2 cup beef broth<br \/>\n\u00b01\/4 tsp ground ginger<br \/>\n\u00b03 tablespoons soy sauce<br \/>\n\u00b01\/4 tsp black pepper<br \/>\n\u00b02 tsp brown sugar<br \/>\n\u00b01 tablespoon cornstarch<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Place the beef, peppers and onions in an electric pressure cooker.<br \/>\nAdd the season, brown sugar and soy sauce to the beef\/peppers.<br \/>\nPour the beef stock into the instant pot.<br \/>\nMix.<br \/>\nAdd the lid and make sure it is tightly closed. Set the pressure to high for 15 min.<br \/>\nWhen you are done for a quick release (or if you want the steak to fall apart, make a natural release)<br \/>\nRemove the cover and press the Cancel button. Then switch the pressure cooker to Blown mode.<br \/>\nIn a small separate bowl, combine 1\/4 cup cold water with a tablespoon of cornstarch together.
