{"id":2674,"date":"2025-03-09T22:24:49","date_gmt":"2025-03-09T22:24:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/?p=2674"},"modified":"2025-03-09T22:24:49","modified_gmt":"2025-03-09T22:24:49","slug":"reuben-crescent-bake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/index.php\/2025\/03\/09\/reuben-crescent-bake\/","title":{"rendered":"Reuben Crescent Bake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients<\/p>\n<p>2 (8 oz) cans crescent roll dough \ud83e\udd50<br \/>\n\u00be lb sliced corned beef, chopped \ud83e\udd69<br \/>\n8 oz Swiss cheese, sliced or shredded \ud83e\uddc0<br \/>\n1 cup sauerkraut, drained well \ud83e\udd6c<br \/>\n\u00bd cup Thousand Island dressing \ud83e\udd6b<br \/>\n1 egg, beaten \ud83e\udd5a<br \/>\n1 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional) \ud83c\udf3f<br \/>\n1 tablespoon melted butter \ud83e\uddc8<\/p>\n<p>Instructions<\/p>\n<p>1. Preheat &amp; Prep:<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 375\u00b0F (190\u00b0C).<br \/>\nGrease a 9&#215;13-inch baking dish.<br \/>\n2. Layer the Base:<\/p>\n<p>Roll out one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the dish.<br \/>\nGently pinch the seams together to form a solid layer.<br \/>\n3. Add the Fillings:<\/p>\n<p>Spread Thousand Island dressing evenly over the dough.<br \/>\nLayer with half of the Swiss cheese, followed by all of the corned beef and sauerkraut.<br \/>\nTop with the remaining Swiss cheese.<br \/>\n4. Seal the Top:<\/p>\n<p>Roll out the second can of crescent dough and place it over the filling.<br \/>\nPinch the seams and edges together to seal.<br \/>\n5. Add Finishing Touches:<\/p>\n<p>Brush the top with beaten egg and melted butter for a golden crust.<br \/>\nSprinkle with caraway seeds for extra Reuben flavor (optional).<br \/>\n6.
