Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated.<br \/>\nShape the patties \u2013 Form the mixture into 4-6 patties, pressing them firmly so they hold their shape.<br \/>\nCook the patties \u2013 Heat butter or oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.<br \/>\nMelt the cheese \u2013 If adding extra cheese, place a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking.
