This was one of those desserts that was saved for adults only.<\/p>\n<div class=\"autors-widget\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<div id=\"autors-container-0\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-2\"><\/div>\n<p>I never did understand that as I was growing up. When I got older, I started making this treat myself and although I do not understand why it was an adult only treat, I understand why they kept it all to themselves.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>2 packages of miniature marshmallows<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp butter, melted<\/li>\n<li>2 packages of white chocolate chips<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bd cups red and green gumdrops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How To Make Four Ingredient Nougat Bars<\/h2>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FIRST STEP:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Cut the gum drops in half<\/li>\n<li>Layer a baking dish with parchment paper, be sure there is enough paper hanging over the sides<\/li>\n<li>Bring a pot of water to a boil on the stove<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SECOND STEP:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Place a heat proof bowl or another pan over the first pot with the water<\/li>\n<li>To the top dish add in the miniature marshmallows, the white chocolate chips and the butter<\/li>\n<li>Melt the ingredients in the pan, over( or rather like a double boiler)<\/li>\n<li>Stir until all is melted<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">THIRD STEP:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Gently fold in the gumdrops<\/li>\n<li>Pour into the baking dish with the parchment paper<\/li>\n<li>Let rest overnight so the nougat sets<\/li>\n<li>Lift out of the baking dish using the parchment paper, cut into bars<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Four Ingredient Nougat Bars\u00a0\u2013 I recall growing up and seeing this\u00a0treat\u00a0on the\u00a0dessert\u00a0table every holiday.
