{"id":1438,"date":"2024-11-09T13:11:55","date_gmt":"2024-11-09T13:11:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/?p=1438"},"modified":"2024-11-09T13:11:55","modified_gmt":"2024-11-09T13:11:55","slug":"beef-stew","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/breckas.com\/index.php\/2024\/11\/09\/beef-stew\/","title":{"rendered":"Beef stew"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-10\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-4\"><\/div>\n<p>2 lbs Stew Beef (cut in cubes)<br \/>\n2 tsp Olive Oil<br \/>\n2 Cups Water<br \/>\n1 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce<br \/>\n1 tsp garlic powder or 1 fresh clove garlic minced<br \/>\n2 Bay leaves<br \/>\n1 medium onion chopped<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<br \/>\n1 tsp raw sugar<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp ground black pepper<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp smoked paprika<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp tumeric<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp onion powder<br \/>\n\u215b tsp ground cloves<br \/>\n4 large carrots quartered and cut into small pie shaped pieces<br \/>\n3 celery stalks halved and cut into small pieces<br \/>\n2 Tbs corn starch<br \/>\n\u00bc cup water<br \/>\n1 packet of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-16\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Brown meat in the olive oil in a skillet on the stove top over medium high heat for 2-3 minutes. Place into crock pot.<\/p>\n<p>Add the 2 cups of water water and all ingredients to the crock pot. Cook in crock pot on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.<\/p>\n<p>45 minutes before serving, in a small bowl mix \u00bc cup of cold water and 2 tbs of corn starch together and mix until corn starch is dissolved. Once dissolved, add to the crock pot.
