Pistachio Puppy Chow has always been one of my favorite snacks since I was a kid. I first discovered it at a school event and have loved it ever since. I knew the basic recipe by heart in high school because I made it a lot. Recently, I began trying out new flavors of Puppy Chow.<\/p>\n
1 box of Rice Chex cereal (12 oz)
\n1 can of sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
\n1\/2 cup of melted butter
\n1 cup of white chocolate or cream cheese chips.
\n1 packet of instant pistachio pudding mix (3.4 oz)
\nHalf a teaspoon of vanilla
\nHalf a teaspoon of salt<\/p>\n
2 cups of confectioner’s sugar
\nHow to Make Pistachio Puppy Chow: Here’s a simple recipe for making Pistachio Puppy Chow.
\nPut cereal in a big bowl or a doubled paper bag, and leave it there.
\nIn a big bowl that can be used in the microwave, put sweetened condensed milk, butter, and chocolate chips. Heat the chips in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until they are completely melted. Stir until there are no lumps.
\nStir the pudding mix until it’s well mixed, then add vanilla and salt.
\nPour the pudding over the cereal and mix well until everything is covered. Then, add powdered sugar and mix again.
\nLet the treat cool down before putting it in a sealed container. It’s best to eat it within the first day or two!<\/p>\n
