Put oil in a baking pan.<\/p>\n<p>In a big bowl, mix together the frozen corn, cream cheese, melted butter, milk, heavy cream, sugar, salt, and black pepper.<\/p>\n<p>Stir everything together until all ingredients are mixed well and the mixture is smooth and creamy.<\/p>\n<p>Put the corn mixture in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.<\/p>\n<p>Cook in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until warm and slightly golden on the surface.<\/p>\n<p>Take out of the oven and sprinkle chopped fresh chives on top.<\/p>\n<p>Serve the dish hot and creamy, directly from the oven.<\/p>\n<p>Reminders:<\/p>\n<p>For more flavor, use whole milk instead of regular milk.<br \/>\nAdd some grated cheddar cheese to make a cheesy version of the corn casserole.<br \/>\nUse Greek yogurt instead of some of the cream cheese for a slightly tangy flavor.<br \/>\nSprinkle buttered breadcrumbs or crushed crackers on top before baking for a crispy crust.<br \/>\nWait for 5 minutes after baking before serving to make it easier to scoop.<\/p>\n<p>This very creamy and rich corn casserole has a smooth and luxurious texture thanks to the combination of cream cheese, butter, and cream.
