Ingredients

•1 head of broccoli (cut into small florets)

•1 head of cauliflower (cut into small florets)

•2 tablespoons butter

•2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

•1 ½ cups milk (whole milk or 2%)

•1 teaspoon garlic powder

•½ teaspoon Dijon mustard

•1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

•½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

•½ cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

•Salt and pepper to taste

•1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for breadcrumbs)

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2.Blanch the vegetables

•Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

•Add the broccoli and cauliflower florets, cooking for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
